Calculated Risk Winery sources this medium body, dry Santa Barbara Chardonnay from only the best grapes. The light yellow color, fruity bouquet, citrus overtones and structure.

Calculated Risk doesn't settle for mediocre. They are selecting varietals from the most exclusive appellations in Napa. Occasionally they will locate a unique Vineyard outside of Napa Valley to add to the collection.

93 POINTS - "With an attractive pale golden hue, this wine opens with alluring aromas of ripe tree fruits, fresh cut pineapple, shaved coconut and lemon custard intermixed with hints of honeysuckle, chamomile, mineral, and sandalwood. On the palate, the lively notes of Meyer lemon, white peach, ripe quince, crisp green apple and tangy Kaffir lime are layered with nuances of candied ginger, nutmeg, and toasted almonds. A brilliant, golden yellow look with hints of pineapple, white peach, pear and pomelo on the nose. The palate offers lime leaf, honeysuckle, lemon and a hint of subtle lavender.
