WINEMAKER NOTES
The hallmarks of 50 Harvests have always been a subtle expression of balance, structure and longevity that are well represented in this, our fifth release from Napa’s heralded 2015 vintage. A medium ruby color is accented by plush tones of crimson leading to a nose of spice and cola surrounding the well rounded notes of blue berries and black cherries. The well integrated palate is rich and bold with a succulent mouthfeel framed by sweet tannins. Each component of the nose carries forward on the palate accompanied by hints of raspberry and red currant in the back for a bright edge to accentuate a strong sense of balance and structure. A lingering finish brings forward the character of each element while adding an overall sense of complexity in its layered presentation.

Blend: 76% Cabernet, 12% Cab Franc, & 12% Merlot

Alcohol: 14%
92 POINTS - "Maybe this isn't the most monumental Napa red. but it's a wine you can sit down to dinner with and have a lot of pleasure, thanks to the appealing interplay of bright blackberries, gentle tannins and lively acidity. Drink or hold." - James Suckling

90 POINTS - "This red is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 12% Merlot. Together, they offer a juicy full-bodied palate of rounded cassis and cherry, with a grippy tension of oak, cedar and dried herb." - Wine Enthusiast
Bright black fruit aromatics are followed by a rich panorama of red and vlack fruit, with spice and mineral flavors highlighted by rich currants, spice and complimentary oak characteristics.
