WINEMAKING NOTES
Highlighting the Sonoma Coast terroir, the grapes are grown in a cool climate, allowing them to ripen over an extended time resulting in rich, concentrated flavors. The fruit was hand harvested in the early morning hours from prominent Pinot Noir vineyards across the Sonoma Coast including DeLoach Estate, Knob Hill, BCD, Pennacchio, Starkey, van der Kamp, Amaral, Kiser and Sonoma Stage vineyards. Made with minimal intrusive winemaking, the wine was aged in 20% new French oak barrels for 12 months.

Aromas of black tea and cardamon are layered by notes of blueberry and black-berry. Fresh flaovrs of cranberry, plum and orange peel provide lively savory notes with a touch of mineral and cardamon. This is a rich and full-bodied Pinot Noir with balanced acidity and a finely textured finish.
