FOOD PAIRING
Like an adventurous film called Ichor, a captivating term from Greek mythology meaning “the fluid that flows like blood in the veins of the gods.” This deep, rich and powerful proprietary blend is made with world-class grapes grown at rugged rocky sites located in the high-elevation appellations of Howell Mountain (70%) and Mt. Veeder (30%) towering above Napa Valley. Crafted with all five Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Franc (52%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (38%) play the lead roles, with the smaller portions of Malbec, Petite Verdot and Merlot representing the supporting cast.

Blend: 52% Cab Franc, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Verdot, & Merlot

Alcohol: 15.5%
93 POINTS - "Full-bodied with a deep red hue and hints of violet. The wine teases the senses with seductive aromas of dark fruits, wild berries, cocoa, baking spices, leather, and cigar box. As the wine opens up, the palate is filled with saturated flavors of ripe blackberry, blueberry, cassis, cherry cola, ripe plum, fresh sage, licorice, clove, and roasted black walnut. To match power with grace, these deep flavors are balanced with a rich texture, vibrant acidity, smooth tannins, and a lingering finish." - Chris Sawyer
Rich, round and opulent with dynamic mountain character. This is a great wine to pair with a selection of artisan style salami, hard cheeses, eggplant parmesan, wild mushroom raviolis, juicy steaks, gamey meats, slow-roasted stews, or rack of lamb.
