This fantastic wine is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon & 5% Cabernet Franc grapes, grown above 500 feet on the unique alluvial soils of the region at the Grable family’s estate property, which is located just a few minutes south of the pioneer properties made famous by Cabernet brands like Peter Michael and Beringer.

96 POINTS - "In the glass, this wonderful cellar selection opens with lofty aromas of wild berries, red fruits, and black currants, is intertwined with complementary notes of roasted espresso beans, toffee, tobacco, forest floors, and cedar. The experience continues to the palate, where the dense flavors of ripe blackberry, blueberry, black raspberry, and dark cherry are layered with hints of wild sage, chocolate, allspice, and smoked almonds. Silky smooth with a long finish. This wine still tastes fresh and youthful the moment it is poured and becomes more elegant, complex, and gracious as it opens.
