95 POINTS - "On the nose, the full-bodied, mountain character comes to life with lofty aromas of wild berries, black currant and blue fruits interlaced with rustic hints of wild herbs, licorice, tobacco, and spiced nuts. As the wine opens in the glass, the deep, rich and intensive flavors of briary blackberry, ripe plum and dark cherry are layered with complementary notes of dried blueberry, bittersweet chocolate, wild sage, lavender, cardamom and a hint of smoked cedar. Big, bold and grippy at first, the texture becomes velvety as the levels of complex flavors and weight increases. The same can be said for the rich and savory characteristics that are underscored with a burst of bright acidity leading to a long, lingering finish. Power and rustic elegance in every sip. For best results, decant before serving or cellar for 7-10 years. Outstanding." - Chris Sawyer
Aromas of black currant and ripe plum are complemented with rich blackberry flavors. This densely structured Cabernet Sauvignon continues to build weight into a long and concentrated finish.
