WINEMAKER NOTES
Michael-Scott Winery, founded in 1996, Michael Quinn created a small winery on his property located on the west side of the town of Napa in bucolic Brown's Valley. Michael-Scott Winery specializes in small-lots from fruit grown in Napa and Sonoma, using sustainable and eco-friendly techniques, including sometimes organically certified.

The 2018 Cabernet is sourced from certifiably sustainable vineyards with a few located in some of the top hillside sub appelations of Napa Valley.

Blend: 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, & 1% Cabernet Franc

Alcohol: 14.5%
96 POINTS - "On the nose, the personality of the fruit sourced from premiere sites comes to life with dazzling aromas of red and black fruits and complementary notes of roasted espresso, mocha, leather, mineral, fresh sage, savory spices, and cedar. Ripe, elegant, and juicy. As the wine opens, the palate is filled with lush flavors of black cherry, pomegranate, raspberry, ripe plum, and black currant. Hints of chocolate and toasted walnuts add depth and complexity, while the silky texture and supple tannins coat the palate on route to a long, generous finish. True cabernet character in each sip." - Chris Sawyer
This very limited lot displays beautiful structure and balance. Notes of rich black cherry fruit, currant, cedar, tea leaves, and cocoa. The finish is lengthy with lush and silky tannins. Expect to enjoy through 2030.
