Sourced from the Estrella, San Juan Creek, and Paso Robles Highlands districts, our vineyards boast stunning landscapes of rolling hills and soaring altitudes, ranging from 1,100 to 1,600 feet. Through collaborative partnerships, we have secured grapes from renowned plots such as Comino, River Grove, Sunnyslope, and Truesdale – all synonymous with exceptional quality and consistent excellence.

Comino, nestled in the Estrella District, is a sustainable haven where grapes thrive amidst well-drained Silty Clay Loam soils with a limestone substrate. This SIP and Lodi Rules certified vineyard benefits from cooling afternoon breezes, allowing for vibrant flavors to develop in the midst of warm summers.

In the heart of the Estrella District lies River Grove, an elevated plateau at approximately 1,100 feet. Certified by Lodi Rules, this vineyard experiences dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, infusing the grapes with complexity. Deep, well-drained Sandy Clay Loam soils provide the foundation for exceptional fruit expression.

Sunnyslope, tucked within the southern pass of San Juan Creek, reveals its natural beauty at elevations ranging from 1,100 to 1,200 feet. As a SIP certified vineyard, it adheres to sustainable practices, while the unique Arbuckle-San Ysidro complex nurtures vines in soils formed from a medley of rocks, contributing to the wine's distinct personality.

Rising to breathtaking heights of 1,600 feet in the Paso Robles Highlands District, Truesdale showcases mesas that overlook the region. With SIP certification and well-drained Aruckly Sandy Loam and Jenks Clay Loam soils, this vineyard imparts depth and character to our Cabernet Sauvignon, resulting in a wine of unparalleled quality.

Laura Orozco, a talented and passionate winemaker, hails from the renowned Napa Valley. Growing up amidst vineyards, Laura developed a deep connection with grapes from an early age. Her winemaking journey began at Franciscan Estate, where she honed her skills before moving on to V. Sattui Winery, where she rose to the position of winemaker.

In 2015, Laura embarked on a new chapter as the Assistant Winemaker at Chimney Rock Winery, a prestigious establishment known for its exceptional Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Under the mentorship of General Manager and Winemaker Elizabeth Vianna, Laura flourished and gained a profound appreciation for the intricacies of crafting remarkable Cabernet Sauvignon.

Laura's dedication and talent did not go unnoticed. In 2022, her hard work and expertise led to a well-deserved promotion to Winemaker for Terlato's latest venture - the creation of a Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon.
